Summer is here and what better way to start the new season than with an introduction to our New Faces...

FANA ELLIS - MODEL

Fana's first modelling experience presented itself to her when she was completing a PR internship. "The PR agency asked me if I would be the model for one of their clients 'Face Halo', it was for QVC beauty! From that point, I knew I wanted to pursue modelling and I got signed to my first agency in April 2020".

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

"I have a degree in Fashion Marketing".

What are your interests/hobbies outside of work?

"I love all things personal development and wellness! My spirituality is important to me, I meditate in the mornings and also keeping fit and healthy is part of my every day".

Do you have any advice for new models/actors?

"Believe in YOUR true beauty! Be patient with the process when starting out but remain eager and excited. I feel this might be said frequently within the industry but rejection is redirection, I find real comfort knowing that the jobs that are meant for me will present themselves".

EMILY BLAKE - CURVE

Emily started modelling after winning the national beauty pageant Miss British Beauty Curve in 2014. She loved it so much she wanted to do more.

She has performed since she was little, acting and singing in choirs and school plays and with her local theatre; her most recent roles have been The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot and Gwendoline in The Importance of Being Earnest.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

"I am trained as a presenter for stage and screen. I've always wanted to be a TV presenter".

What brands have you worked with?

"I have modelled for Asos, Simply Be, So Fabulous, Yours Clothing and more".

What are your interests/hobbies outside of modelling?

"I love singing and performing solo gigs, I do this as well as being part of an acoustic duo. I am someone who finds it hard to relax but finally, I can say I enjoy sitting down and watching different TV series and films. I'm a huge media geek and have always loved theatre, film and television. I've just bought myself a keyboard to try learning piano so maybe one day I can accompany myself on my gigs! I love learning new things".

What would you say your party trick is?

"Silly faces, voices and impressions. I can do a good Britney and Shakira".

Do you have any advice for new models/actors?

"Stop thinking and start doing. Make your own opportunities and put yourself out there. Don't try to copy anyone else, just be your beautiful self".
